A comparison of virtual and traditional museums

Abstract

It should be noted that virtual museums created by museums themselves on the Internet are in the minority, as the vast majority are created by museum organizations or private individuals. A virtual museum, in turn, is located on the Internet, consists of a collection of museum exhibits, and has its own unique structure. Each virtual museum independently determines the organizational structure that, in its view, seems most convenient and necessary for its operations. The very idea of creating a virtual museum is as simple as its technical implementation is complex.
