A modern state and level of the intellectual development of students of primary education faculty

Abstract

In order to study the current state of affairs the research devoted to the peculiarities of the intellectual development during the studies was performed among students of pedagogical faculties. First of all we were interested in changes of the intellectual processes quality, the general index of intelligence of future primary school teachers. In general, these results correlate with the general understanding of the young person’s intellectual development, but can not be considered satisfactory, since the process of professional training, that coincides with the sensitive period of intellectual development, should give a higher percentage of progressive changes. General results of the dynamics of the intellectual development indices are shown in Table 1. Determining the standards for this group, we were guided by the indicators of student achievements in the corresponding disciplines of their professional training. З метою вивчення сучасного стану справ серед студентів педагогічних факультетів проведено дослідження, присвячене особливостям інтелектуального розвитку під час навчання. Перш за все у доповіді описано зміни якості інтелектуальних процесів, загального показника інтелекту майбутніх учителів початкової школи. Загальні результати динаміки показників інтелектуального розвитку наведено в таблиці.
