The current issues of mall application in esl settings

Abstract

Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) is no longer a novelty in foreign language education, it has become a necessary tool for digitalisation and diversification of learning environment. Today educators face the need to address the issues of MALL implementation that require clarification and further exploration in order to establish the conceptual structure of MALL. This particular need substantiates the topical value of the paper and calls for the following methods of research: analysis, synthesis and deductive reasoning. Навчання мов за допомогою мобільних пристроїв (MALL) більше не є новинкою в освіті іноземних мов, воно стало необхідним інструментом цифровізації та диверсифікації навчального середовища. Сьогодні викладачі стикаються з необхідністю вирішення питань впровадження MALL, які потребують уточнення та подальших досліджень з метою встановлення концептуальної структури MALL. Ця особлива потреба обґрунтовує актуальне значення статті та вимагає наступних методів дослідження: аналізу, синтезу та дедуктивних міркувань.
