Развитие информационного общества в Азербайджане: реалии и перспективы

Abstract

The objective of the article is to explain actual development problem of the “information society” in Azerbaijan. The author gives main attention to the fact that each country has a specific transition to the information society. That is, the development of information society as a socio-political fact, depends on factors that have already been formed in various spheres of social life. The article clarifies features of the information society in the country, and concluded that the information society has been successfully forming in Azerbaijan. Nevertheless, processes on a global scale occur much more faster than in Azerbaijan, so the acceleration of this process in Azerbaijan is needed.
