Суспільно-політична думка доби ранньомодерної України у вимірах історико-теоретичного дослідження

Abstract

The article is devoted to the theoretical and methodological comprehension of the socio-political thought of the era of early modern Ukraine as an important component of historical and political knowledge. Different aspects of its development, historical and socio-cultural determinants of its content are investigated, its interrelations with religious, cultural and socio-political processes that took place in the era of early modern Ukraine were clarified. The early modern day in Ukrainian history is characterized by the time of high culture, philosophical and socio-political thought, the time of the formation of the political subjectivity of Ukraine in the form of the Cossack state of Bogdan Khmelnytsky as an era of fraternal schools and intellectual associations of the 16th–17th centuries. The aspects of the socio-political thought of the era of early modern Ukraine are highlighted, which indicate the formation of national consciousness, the formation of prerequisites for the emergence of the Ukrainian modern nation and the Ukrainian state. The theoretical aspects of the Ukrainian socio-political thought of the early modern era are considered in unity with the historicalretrospective approach.
