Особливості розвитку творчого потенціалу молодших школярів

Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the cognitive aspects of primary school pupils’ creative potential taking into account its age peculiarities. The specific character of a creative personality and the main opposites of his behavior are considered. The main components of personality’s creative potential are characterized. The main ways of development of primary school pupils’ creative imagination depending on the motivation of their training activities are distinguished. One can identify a number of factors which contribute to the development of a child’s creative potential. They can be divided into several groups: general factors of social influence, the factors of development of a creative personality’s cognitive sphere. Special attention should be paid to the factors which can promote the formation of a person’s achievement motivation. They include the development of scientific outlook; the existence of "self-concept"; personali- ty’s volitional powers; sense of beauty, etc. The author notes that these qualities should be developed comprehensively, providing the student’s striving for creating new and original results. These qualities are developed during specially organized discussions, communication in the process of solving problem situations of both educational and informative character. However, the particular application of these forms of work at primary school age requires further study and improvement accounting age peculiarities and schoolchildren’s cognitive abilities. On the basis of this the targeted sys- tem of pedagogical influence on the formation of the creative potential of a person in the whole should be developed. У статті висвітлюється актуальна проблема розвитку творчого потенціалу учнів молодшого шкільного віку. Розглядається специфіка творчої особистості та основні протиріччя її поведінки. Характеризуються основні складові творчого потенціалу особистості. Висвітлюються результати емпіричного дослідження реалізації творчої уяви учня в залежності від специфіки його мотивації. Окреслюються основні шляхи навчально- виховного впливу на розвиток творчої особистості молодшого школяра.
