Філософія і етика Томаса Гоббса в культурній парадигмі нового часу

Abstract

Актуальність проблеми. Антропологічний вимір людського буття в умовах глобальних викликів сучасності набуває особливої філософської значущості. Загострення проблем війни і миру, насильства та відповідальності, добра і зла актуалізує необхідність переосмислення класичних концепцій моральної філософії, у межах яких здійснюється аналіз природи людини та меж її свободи. У цьому контексті сучасна війна постає як гранична ситуація, що виявляє крихкість соціального порядку та повертає людину до стану екзистенційної невизначеності. Філософська спадщина англійського мислителя Нового часу Томаса Гоббса надає концептуальні засади для осмислення причин війни, механізмів насильства та можливостей їх подолання через морально-правове впорядкування людських відносин. Мета дослідження полягає в аналізі морально-етичних засад філософії Томаса Гоббса з акцентом на його розуміння війни і миру, природного стану людини та суспільного договору як умови подолання руйнівних форм людського співіснування. Issue topicality. The anthropological dimension of human existence under the conditions of contemporary global challenges acquires particular philosophical significance. The intensification of the problems of war and peace, violence and responsibility, good and evil foregrounds the necessity of rethinking classical concepts of moral philosophy, within which the nature of the human being and the limits of human freedom are analyzed. In this context, modern war emerges as a limit situation that reveals the fragility of social order and returns the individual to a state of existential uncertainty. The philosophical legacy of the early modern English thinker Thomas Hobbes provides conceptual foundations for understanding the causes of war, the mechanisms of violence, and the possibilities of overcoming them through the moral and legal regulation of human relations. Goal of the research is to analyze the moral and ethical foundations of Thomas Hobbes’s philosophy, with particular emphasis on his understanding of war and peace, the state of nature, and the social contract as a condition for overcoming destructive forms of human coexistence.
