Гіганти глобального півдня та посилення їх ролі у світі

Abstract

Стаття аналізує зростання ролі країн Глобального Півдня, таких як Китай, Індія, Бразилія та ПАР, у сучасних міжнародних відносинах. Автор детально досліджує історичні, економічні та політичні передумови, які сприяли трансформації цих держав із регіональних лідерів у глобальні центри впливу. Особлива увага приділена їхньому впливу на світовий порядок через участь у таких організаціях, як БРІКС, ШОС, Новий банк розвитку та інші об’єднання, які стають альтернативою західним структурам. Стаття висвітлює взаємозв’язки між послабленням позицій традиційних центрів сили, таких як США та ЄС, і активізацією країн Глобального Півдня. Автор аналізує, як ці країни формують нові політичні та економічні тенденції, долаючи внутрішні проблеми, такі як соціальна нерівність, бідність, корупція та екологічні виклики. Розглянуто їхні економічні успіхи, зокрема розвиток промисловості, торгівлі, сільського господарства, а також політичну стратегію, спрямовану на багатовекторність і балансування між різними центрами сили. У контексті Російсько-Української війни автор висвітлює амбівалентну роль цих країн. З одного боку, вони залишаються ключовими торговими партнерами Росії, що підтримує її економіку під час санкційного тиску. З іншого боку, їхній вплив на Росію через економічні й політичні інструменти може стати важливим фактором у забезпеченні миру. Окремий розділ присвячено перспективам співпраці України з гігантами Глобального Півдня. Підкреслено значення їхніх інвестицій для післявоєнної відбудови України, можливості взаємовигідної торгівлі та спільного вирішення екологічних проблем. Автор пропонує розглядати ці країни як ключових партнерів для забезпечення сталого економічного зростання України, а також як важливий інструмент у формуванні нового світового порядку, що ґрунтується на принципах багатовекторності та рівноправності. Робота завершується висновками про необхідність активного залучення країн Глобального Півдня до мирного врегулювання в Україні. Автор наголошує, що їхні економічні інтереси в регіоні можуть стати дієвим засобом стримування агресії Росії, а їхній внесок у післявоєнну відбудову сприятиме формуванню довготривалого миру. The article analyzes the growing role of Global South countries, such as China, India, Brazil, and South Africa, in contemporary international relations. The author examines in detail the historical, economic, and political conditions that contributed to the transformation of these states from regional leaders into global centers of influence. Special attention is given to their impact on the world order through participation in organizations such as BRICS, the New Development Bank, and other unions, which are becoming alternatives to Western structures. The article highlights the relationship between the weakening positions of traditional centers of power, such as the USA and the EU, and the activation of Global South countries. The author analyzes how these countries are shaping new political and economic trends while overcoming internal issues such as social inequality, poverty, corruption, and environmental challenges. Their economic successes are discussed, including the development of industry, trade, agriculture, and political strategies aimed at multi-vectorism and balancing between various power centers. In the context of the Russo-Ukrainian war, the author highlights the ambivalent role of these countries. On the one hand, they remain key trade partners of Russia, supporting its economy during the pressure of sanctions. On the other hand, their influence on Russia through economic and political instruments could be an important factor in ensuring peace. A separate section is dedicated to the prospects of Ukraine’s cooperation with the giants of the Global South. The importance of their investments for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, the possibilities for mutually beneficial trade, and the joint resolution of environmental problems are emphasized. The author suggests considering these countries as key partners for ensuring sustainable economic growth in Ukraine, as well as an important tool in shaping a new world order based on the principles of multi-vectorism and equality. The paper concludes with findings on the need for active involvement of Global South countries in the peaceful settlement of the situation in Ukraine. The author emphasizes that their economic interests in the region could become an effective means of deterring Russian aggression, and their contribution to post-war reconstruction will contribute to the formation of lasting peace.
