On the theory of learning transfer and its application in teaching Chinese as a foreign language

Abstract

Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is teaching of Chinese as a second language to foreigners. It is a specialized subject, which is different from the teaching of Chinese in China. This nature determines the particularity of the subject under study. It, like many other disciplines, is subject to the laws of Pedagogy and Psychology. Learning transfer, as a concept in cognitive psychology, belongs to the category of non-intellectual factors. In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, it will play an important role to attach importance to the influence and function of the law of transfer; it is expedient to understand comprehensively and to grasp accurately the phenomenon “transfer” as well as to apply it scientifically in teaching practice. Викладання китайської мови як іноземної – це навчання іноземців китайської мови як другої. Це спеціалізований предмет, який відрізняється від викладання китайської мови в Китаї. Цей характер визначає специфіку досліджуваного предмета. Вона, як і багато інших дисциплін, підкоряється законам педагогіки та психології. Передача навчання, як концепція когнітивної психології, належить до категорії неінтелектуальних факторів.
