Роль виборів у процесі демократизації політичних партій

Abstract

Обґрунтовано, що виборчі кампанії виступають дієвим механізмом розвитку політичних партій, горизонтальної та вертикальної взаємодії всередині партій. За допомогою інституційного підходу досліджено діяльність політичних партій та основні закономірності їх інституціоналізації. Відзначено, що вибори можуть сприяти демократизації діяльності політичних партій, а можуть закріплювати владу партійної олігархії. The article studies the role of election campaigns in the democratization of political parties. The influence of election type (majority, proportional, mixed) is revealed on the process of rotation of political elite and democratization of party interaction. Election campaigns are founded to be the effective mechanism of development of political parties, of horizontal and vertical collaboration within the parties. By means of institutional approach, activities of political parties are examined as well as the main patterns of their institutionalization. It is noted that the elections can contribute to the democratization of political parties, and they may consolidate the power of the party oligarchy.
