Спортивна дипломатія: сутнісне значення, виклики і перспективи для України

Abstract

Для України успішна реалізація спортивної дипломатії має величезне значення. У процесі становлення державності, у складних соціально-політичних та економічних умовах державі потрібно використовувати всі наявні інструменти реалізації та захисту своїх зовнішніх інтересів. У цій ситуації не можна недооцінювати ті можливості, які відкриває перед зовнішньополітичними інституцiями спортивна дипломатія. Це зумовлює актуальність теми дослідження і її практичне значення у сфері зовнішньої політики України. Реалізація мети, а також завдань статті, орієнтованих на розгляд сутнісних аспектів спортивної дипломатії, викликів і перспектив спортивної дипломатії в Україні, зумовлюють використання авторкою як загальнонаукових методів (аналізу, синтезу, узагальнення), так і спеціальних, політологічних методів дослідження – політико- правового, структурно-функціонального, порівняльного, а також емпіричних методів збору і аналізу інформації. У статті стверджується, що спорт виступає опосередкованим інструментом впливу на населення різних країн. Спортивні зв’язки роблять істотний внесок у зміцнення міжкультурного діалогу, сприяють зростанню міжнародного престижу країни. У наші дні спорт по праву можна назвати однією з найважливіших частин життя людини і суспільства. Він охоплює практично всі сторони життя сучасної людини. Феномен спорту в сучасному світі полягає в тому, що він став явищем глобального масштабу, що об’єднує людей різних вікових груп, національностей, релігій, поглядів. Водночас спорт – це засіб представництва на світовій арені, що забезпечує імідж країни, сприяючи таким чином реалізації її інтересів. З огляду на те, що в нашої країни багата спортивна історія та традиції, спорт мають розглядати як невід’ємну та повноцінну частину стратегії дій України в зовнішньополітичних відносинах з іншими державами. У статті зазначені основні прояви спортивної дипломатії України – Євро-2012, Ліга Чемпіонів-2018, українсько-азербайджанська співпраця; окреслюються виклики щодо спортивної дипломатії, а також перспективи її реалізації в дипломатичній сфері України. The successful implementation of sports diplomacy in Ukraine is essential. In the process of statehood formation, in difficult socio-political and economic conditions, the state must use all available tools to implement and protect its external interests. In this situation, one should not underestimate the opportunities that sports diplomacy opens up for foreign policy institutions. This determines the relevance of the research topic and its practical significance in the field of foreign policy of Ukraine. The realization of the purpose, as well as the objectives of the article, focused on the essential aspects of sports diplomacy, challenges and prospects for sports diplomacy in Ukraine, determine the author’s use of both general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, generalization) and special political science research methods. legal, structural-functional, comparative, as well as empirical methods of collecting and analyzing information. The article argues that sport is an indirect tool for influencing the population of different countries. Sports ties make a significant contribution to strengthening intercultural dialogue, contribute to the growth of the international prestige of the country. Nowadays, sport can rightly be called one of the most important parts of human life and society. It covers almost all aspects of modern human life. The phenomenon of sport in the modern world is that it has become a phenomenon of global scale, uniting people of different ages, nationalities, religions, views. At the same time, sport is a means of representation on the world stage, which ensures the image of the country, thus contributing to the realization of its interests. Given the fact that our country has a rich sports history and traditions, that is why sports should be considered as an integral and full-fledged part of Ukraine’s strategy of action in foreign relations with other countries. The article highlights the main manifestations of sports diplomacy of Ukraine ‒ Euro-2012, Champions League 2018, Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation outlines the challenges of sports diplomacy, as well as prospects for its implementation in the diplomatic sphere of Ukraine.
