Моделі взаємодії громадянського суспільства та держави в концепціях представників англо-американської політичної традиції

Abstract

Problems that arise as a result of interaction between the state and civil society institutions are very relevant in the modern political process. The consequences of these relations can have both a positive and a negative character. The problem of the interaction of civil society with the state is fundamental and involves the establishment and development of democracy in the whole world and in particular in Ukraine. The modern scientific environment pays a lot of attention to this issue, but nevertheless some aspects remain little investigated. The purpose of the article is to study the models of interaction between civil society and the state in the concepts of representatives of the Anglo-American tradition. To achieve this goal, the following tasks need to be fulfilled: to consider and analyze the concept of “state” and “civil society”, to define the models of interaction between them, to study the developments on the subject of the representatives of the Anglo-American political doctrine and to make conclusions about the effectiveness of models of interaction between the state and society. In order to achieve the goal, a number of philosophical, general scientific and special political methods were used. In particular, they are the methods of analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction to identify the structure, the form of interaction between the state and civil society. The method of modeling allowed to effectively identify the essential evidence of this process through a conceptual study. The system method, or the method of system analysis, allowed to consider the interaction of each element of research between each other. In scientific literature, in particular in the Anglo-American tradition, there are many models of interaction between the state and civil society institutes. Depending on the quality of such a dialogue, and the inclination of all participants to it, the models can be modified, refined, or vice versa, exhaust themselves and disappear. The availability of appropriate models is very im- portant in terms of the effectiveness of the totality and the functioning of objective vertical and horizontal ties in the plane of state and society.
