Молоде покоління в координатах політичної культури України

Abstract

Перспектива розвитку демократичної України пов’язана з особливостями формування політичної культури молоді, її політичними цінностями, політичним вибором таставленнямдовлади.Метоюстаттієтеоретико-емпіричнийаналізтипуполітичної культури сучасного молодого покоління в українському суспільстві. При написанні роботи були використані загальнонаукові та спеціальні методи дослідження, зокрема, методи теоретичного узагальнення, структурно-функціональний, політологічного аналізу і синтезу феномену політичної культури. Емпіричну базу дослідження склали соціологічний проект «Молодь Пограниччя: Дрогобич – Перемишль» та результати соціологічного опитування, проведеного Центром економічних і політичних досліджень імені Олександра Разумкова у вересні 2017 р. У статті проаналізовано теоретичні засади політичної культури як соціокультурного феномену. Одним із засобів всебічного пізнання ціннісних моделей політичних культур розглянуто її типологізацію. Фокус уваги зосереджено на характеристиці активістського типу, без розвинутих ознак якого неможливо сформувати громадянську культуру. Висвітлено специфіку поєднання чистих типів політичної культури та утворення змішаних форм. Показано, що в сучасній Україні можна говорити про змішаний тип політичної культури молоді. У ньому домінують ознаки підданської та патріархальної культури, й лише починають проявлятися елементи активістської складової. Обґрунтовано необхідність нового підходу у визначенні ролі молоді у політичних процесах і формуванні нового типу політичної культури. На основі емпіричних даних продемонстровано як у регіональному, так і всеукраїнському вимірі недостатньо активне зацікавлення молоді політикою. З іншого боку, показано, що молоде покоління, яке виросло в умовах незалежності, через практику участі у Майданах, частіше демонструє ознаки нового типу політичної культури. Результати дозволили інтерпретувати ставлення молоді до політики як переосмислення своєї ролі в державі та сформулювати пропозиції щодо формування нового типу політичної культури. The perspective of the development of democratic Ukraine is connected with the peculiarities of the formation of the political culture of the youth, its political values, political choice and attitude to the authority. The purpose of the article is a theoretical and empirical analysis of the type of political culture of the modern young generation in Ukrainian society. During the writing of the article, general scientific and special methods of research were used, in particular, methods of theoretical generalization, political science analysis and synthesis of the phenomenon of political culture, as well as structural and functional method. The empirical basis for the study was the sociological project “The Borderline Youth: Drohobych – Przemysl” and the results of a sociological survey conducted by the Centre for Economic and Political Studies named after Alexander Razumkov in September, 2017. The article investigates the type of the political culture of Ukrainian youth. The article analyzes theoretical foundations of political culture as a sociocultural phenomenon. One of the means of comprehensive knowledge of the value models of political cultures is its typology. The specificity of the combination of pure types of political culture and the formation of mixed forms is highlighted. The attention is focused on the characteristic of the activist type, without the developed features without which it is impossible to form the so-called civic culture. The necessity of a new approach in determining the role of youth in political processes and the formation of a new type of political culture are substantiated. It is determined that active and responsible citizens can be brought up only in the conditions of democracy The author shows that the young generation that grew up during the time of independence, through the practice of participation in Maidan, demonstrates the features of a new type of political culture. On the basis of empirical data the level of attitude of youth towards politics has been demonstrated and the prospects for the development of democracy and the formation of an activist type of political culture have been outlined.
