Організація, цілі та соціокультурні особливості навчання іноземних мов у системі післядипломної освіти дорослих

Abstract

У статті розглянуто ціль організації навчання іноземних мов у процесі підвищення кваліфікації, а також охара- ктеризовано комунікативний метод як пріоритетний у системі освіти дорослих у контексті сучасного суспільного

розвитку. Виокремлено теоретичні принципи навчання, що необхідні для іншомовної підготовки слухачів та розкрито їхню сутність. Проаналізовано роботу Лінгвістично-освітнього центру, який створено з метою надання освітньої та методично-консультативної допомоги громадянам, зокрема науковцям, викладачам та студентам університету з вивчення іноземних мов. иалarticle deals the target of organization of foreign languages teaching in the process of improvement of profes- sional skills. social development. There have been determined the theoretical principles of training required for foreign languages

teaching of students and their essence have been revealed. The work of Linguistic Educational Centre has been ana- lyzed. It has been created to provide educational, methodological and consultative services to citizens, including scien- tists, professors and students studying foreign languages. The goal of the Centre is to create conditions for foreign lan- guages learning in post-graduate education, where additional adult linguistic education has three interrelated functions:

1) compensatory – elimination of gaps in basic education; 2) adaptive – efficient and flexible preparation for changes in education and public life; 3) developmental – providing general cultural development, enrichment of new knowledge, meeting cognitive multifaceted interests and needs of individuals. Having identified the peculiarities of teaching English in a system of post-graduate education of adults, having analyzed a number of principles of training required for foreign languages teaching of students, having revealed their essence, having considered the target of organization of foreign languages teaching in the process of improvement of professional skills and having outlined general requirements of the educational market, we have come to the following conclusions.
