Прагматичний підхід у викладанні дисциплін «безпека життєдіяльності» та «основи охорони праці» в класичному університеті

Abstract

У статті обґрунтовано шляхи підвищення усвідомлення студентами важливості, актуальності та затребуваності безпечної життєдіяльності. Розглянуто поняття «прагматизм»; проаналізовано ефективність запровадження прагматичного підходу для дисциплін з безпеки. Доведено, що саме прагматична орієнтація змісту й навчальної діяльності студента під час вивчення дисциплін «Безпека життєдіяльності» та «Основи охорони праці» може бути педагогічною умовою їхньої підготовки до безпечної життєдіяльності. The ever-increasing level of different hazards in the world and in Ukraine, the risks in everyday life and in the workplace requires a new orientation of the higher education system and curriculum reformation on students’ activity regarding issues on life safety. It is shown, that we need a new vision of the educational material, the modernization of the forms and methods of its submission rather than the elimination of safety-targeted disciplines to improve students' understanding of the importance, relevance and demand for safe life. It seems necessary to proceed from the provisions of pragmatism which regulates the organization of work on the basis of the principle «to teach by doing».
