Система творчих завдань з англійської мови як засіб формування критичного мислення майбутніх філологів

Abstract

Дисертацію присвячено проблемі розвитку критичного мислення в студентів-філологів засобами творчих завдань з англійської мови. У дослідженні розкрито сутність поняття «критичне мислення філолога»; уточнено поняття «критичне мислення», визначено й проаналізовано його структуру, механізми, схарактеризовано основні педагогічні умови його формування. Запропоновано систему творчих завдань з англійської мови, що спрямована на розвиток мовленнєвих умінь у студентів, формування навичок оперування інформацією, її критичного осмислення й вироблення власних тверджень як основи для побудови системи ціннісних орієнтацій у майбутніх філологів. Експериментально доведено ефективність розробленої системи творчих завдань з англійської мови і моделі формування критичного мислення в майбутніх філологів. This research focuses on a burning problem of developing a system of creative tasks in English for critical thinking forming in students-philologists. Based on the study and analysis of the notion “Critical Thinking”, its essence and mechanisms have been theoretically substantiated and a notion of “Critical thinking of a Philologist” has been developed. One has carried out and characterized psychological and pedagogical conditions for critical thinking development in students-philologists via creative tasks in English. The system of creative tasks in English has been elaborated. It is directed on formation of communicative skills in future philologists, on the development of practical skills of information handling, its critical analysis, and on the structuring of their own suggestions and statements as a basis for creating the system of value orientations of students in the process of their social developing and interaction. The effectiveness of the proposed system of creative tasks in English and of the critical thinking formation technique has been experimentally verified. Methodological recommendations for developing of future philologist’ critical thinking via applying the system of creative tasks in English have been elaborated.
