Цифрова модернізація процесу викладання англійської мови у закладах вищої освіти: перспективи та виклики

Abstract

Необхідність трансформації підходів до викладання англійської мови пояснюється євроінтеграційною спрямованістю розвитку системи вищої освіти та тотальною цифровізацією. Метою статті є аналіз потенційних переваг та викликів інтеграції інноваційних засобів і підходів до викладання англійської мови у закладах вищої освіти (ЗВО). У дослідженні розглянуто сучасні педагогічні підходи та методи на основі цифрових рішень, зокрема, онлайн- платформи, інтерактивні засоби, імерсивні технології. Визначено ключові переваги цифровізації навчального процесу, серед яких - підвищення залученості та вмотивованості студентів, оптимізація процесу засвоєння матеріалу, інклюзивність та персоналізація освіти. У статті проведено аналіз потенціалу онлайн-платформ, мобільних додатків, гейміфікації, інтерактивних засобів, цифрових ресурсів дистанційного навчання, аудіовізуалізації, інтелектуальних карт та сиквейну для формування стійких англомовних компетенцій у студентів ЗВО. Ідентифіковано основні передумови, що визначають успішність інтеграції цифрових освітніх інструментів у середовище вищої школи. Розглянуто можливість використання штучного інтелекту та EdTech для адаптації освітнього процесу до індивідуальних потреб студентів. Особлива увага приділяється формуванню комунікативної компетентності студентів у процесі вивчення іноземної мови. Акцентовано на необхідності врахування етичних аспектів та забезпечення якісної підготовки викладачів для ефективного використання інноваційних технологій. У дослідженні обґрунтовано, що цифрова трансформація пропонує варіативність інструментів, які можуть допомогти студентам ЗВО покращити мовленнєві навички через активну взаємодію з низкою нестандартних педагогічних методів та підходів, а також зробити процес навчання більш персоналізованим, інтерактивним та ефективним. The need to transform approaches to teaching English is explained by the European integration orientation of the higher education system and total digitalization. The purpose of the article is to analyze the potential advantages and challenges of integrating innovative tools and approaches to teaching English in higher education institutions (HEIs). The study examines modern pedagogical approaches and methods based on digital solutions, in particular, online platforms, interactive tools, immersive technologies. The key advantages of digitalization of the educational process are identified, including increased student engagement and motivation, optimization of the material learning process, inclusiveness and personalization of education. The article analyzes the potential of online platforms, mobile applications, gamification, interactive tools, digital resources for distance learning, audio visualization, mind maps, and sequencer for the formation of sustainable Englishlanguage competencies in HEI students. The main prerequisites that determine the success of integrating digital educational tools into the higher education environment are identified. The possibility of using artificial intelligence and EdTech to adapt the educational process to the individual needs of students is considered. Special attention is paid to the formation of communicative competence of students in the process of learning a foreign language. Emphasis is placed on the need to take into account ethical aspects and ensure high-quality training of teachers for the effective use of innovative technologies. The study substantiates that digital transformation offers a variety of tools that can help students of higher education institutions improve their speaking skills through active interaction with a number of non-standard pedagogical methods and approaches, as well as make the learning process more personalized, interactive and effective.
