Abstract: The relevance of the topic is determined by the growing interest in integrating adaptive approaches into sports training and physical-sports rehabilitation of athletes. The purpose of Adaptive Physical Education (APE) is to develop the physical abilities of athletes recovering from injuries of various origins by activating the musculoskeletal system’s functions.Modern researchers emphasize the importance of implementing contemporary correctional and health-improving technologies of adaptive physical education in the process of athletes’ physical-sports rehabilitation. APE is a type of general physical culture aimed at individuals who have sustained injuries and are limited in their ability to move freely [2].
