Інтеграційне та диференційне в дериваційному аналітизмі: функціонально-зіставний аспект

Abstract

Дисертаційне дослідження присвячено зіставному аналізу функціонування дериваційного аналітизму в англійській та українській мовах. Доведено, що репрезентантами дериваційного аналітизму є аналітичні словотвірні типи, аналітичні деривати і аналітичні словотворчі форманти. The thesis contrasts the functions of the derivation analytism in English and Ukrainian. It has been proved that analytic derivation formants, analytic derivatives, and analytic derivation types are the units for contrasting the functions of the derivation analytism. The derivation analytism functions mainly as means of differentiation. Competition and compensation are not typical functions for the derivation analytism. Having analyzed analytic derivation types, the integral features and differential features of derivation analytism in English and Ukrainian are systematized. The integral features of the derivation analytism in English and Ukrainian are the following: the avoidance of homonymy, the assurance of semantic accuracy, the connection with the syntactic level, the counteraction against functional growth of derivation analytism, and the compensation of synthetic derivational means. The differential features of the derivation analytism in English and Ukrainian concern the quantity of analytic derivatives, the productivity of analytic derivation types, the involvement of more derivation bases in English, the coexistence of analytic derivation types with synthetic and amorphous derivation types in English, and only with synthetic derivation types in Ukrainian, and finally the connection with the morphological level in Ukrainian.
