Соціально-психологічний стан українських біженців в умовах повномасштабних воєнних дій

Abstract

У статті відзначається положення та соціально-психологічний стан біженців з України у зв’язку з початком агресії РФ проти нашої країни. Як відомо, ця цифра сягає 7 мільйонів 900 тисяч. Але це тільки офіційно. Впевнені, що понад 10 млн. українців покинули країну, шукаючи прихистку за кордоном. Згідно офіційних даних, які надав уповноважений Верховної Ради України з прав людини, це складає майже 20% від фактичного населення всієї нашої держави. Найбільшим побоюванням політиків та політологів, а також демографів є те, що більшість біженців не повернуться додому: чим довше триває війна, тим більше вони влаштовують життя в іншій країні, а декому просто нема куди повертатися. Згідно із дослідженням Центру економічної стратегії, назавжди залишитися за кордоном можуть до 3,3 мільйонів наших громадян, що значно вплине на ВВП країни. Незважаючи на таку оцінку, за даними соціологічних опитувань, більшість українців все ж таки планують повернутися додому [1]. Особлива увага звертається на проблеми, що полягають у глибокому аналізі соціально-психологічних аспектів життя українських біженців, які змушені були покинути свої домівки через військові події. Стаття спрямована на вивчення впливу воєнних конфліктів на психічне і соціальне здоров’я біженців, а також розгляд адаптаційних стратегій, які вони використовують для подолання стресу та відновлення свого життя. The relevance of the research is primarily driven by the fact that, since the beginning of the full-scale aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, 7 million 900 thousand Ukrainians have left the country, seeking refuge abroad. According to official data provided by the authorized representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for human rights, this constitutes almost 20% of the actual population of our state. The article emphasizes the issues related to a deep analysis of the socio-psychological aspects of life for Ukrainian refugees who were forced to leave their homes due to military events. It aims to study the impact of armed conflicts on the mental and social health of refugees, as well as explore the adaptive strategies they employ to cope with stress and rebuild their lives. Various responses to war-induced challenges have been identified, such as the need to actualize national group identity, trends in social cohesion, heightened societal expectations, and the consequences of collective psychotraumatization. Society has already provided a commendable response to some of these challenges. For the justification of other responses, the professional community of Ukrainian psychologists should take a leading role. The article substantiates the emotional challenges faced by refugees and internally displaced persons in Ukraine due to Russia’s military aggression. A theoretical analysis of the refugee issue is conducted based on the experiences of other countries. It argues for the relevance and timeliness of the identified problems, considering the contemporary changes in the world where many people have suffered from the consequences of war, leading to alterations in their psychological and physical well-being, social status, and living conditions. All of this necessitates the development and implementation of specific measures to provide timely assistance to such individuals. The analysis of the research reveals high levels of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and trauma due to the loss of loved ones and home. The war has become a severe trial for the entire Ukrainian society and each individual citizen.
