Особливості формування та утвердження в Україні засад демократії та громадянського суспільства

Abstract

The relevance of the outlined problem is determined by the need to understand the complex process of transformation of Ukrainian society after gaining independence and the ongoing challenges that arise along this path. The aim of the research is to analyze and explain the peculiarities of formation of democratic principles and civil society in Ukraine. To achieve this goal, the following methods were used: historical (systematized fundamental approaches to interaction within national and foreign science), logical (revealing the essence and basic concepts of the process of formation and establishment of democratic principles and civil society in Ukraine), descriptive (examining the essence and main principles of interaction between the state and civil society), analysis (describing the theoretical and methodological foundations of formation and establishment of democratic principles and civil society in Ukraine and their impact on building an effective state), synthesis (structural-functional analysis of the formation and establishment of democratic principles and civil society in Ukraine in the field of governance), generalization (characterizing the functional influence of civil society on the process of formation and establishment of democracy). The research results demonstrate that Ukraine faces numerous challenges in the process of formation and establishment of democratic principles. Insufficient governance transparency, corruption, and other problems create obstacles on the path to stable democracy. Additionally, the geopolitical environment affects the process of formation of democratic values in Ukraine. The conclusions of this study emphasize the need for further work on the establishment of civil society in Ukraine. Reforms in the justice system, the fight against corruption, and strengthening of civic participation are key aspects of this process. Moreover, it is important to implement European standards and cooperate with international organizations to support democratic transformations in Ukraine. The research results have significant potential for further development of political science and contribute to understanding the complex political processes taking place in Ukraine. The obtained findings can be valuable for policymakers, researchers, and other stakeholders who strive to strengthen democracy and civil society in Ukraine. Актуальність окресленої проблематики обумовлена потребою розуміти складний процес трансформації українського суспільства після отримання незалежності та постійними викликами, що виникають на цьому шляху. Метою дослідження є проаналізувати і пояснити особливості формування демократичних засад та громадянського суспільства в Україні. Для досягнення цієї мети були використані методи: історичний (систематизовані фундаментальні підходи до взаємодії у межах вітчизняної та зарубіжної науки), логічний (розкрито сутність та основні поняття процесу формування та утвердження в Україні засад демократії та громадянського суспільства), описовий (досліджено сутність та основні принципи взаємодії держави та громадського суспільства), аналіз (описано теоретико-методологічні засади формування та утвердження в Україні засад демократії та громадянського суспільства та їх вплив на розбудову ефективної держави), синтез (структурно-функціональний аналіз формування та утвердження в Україні засад демократії та громадянського суспільства у сфері державного управління), узагальнення (характеризується функціональний вплив громадського суспільства на процесу формування та утвердження засад демократії). Результати дослідження демонструють, що Україна стикається з численними викликами під час формування та утвердження демократичних засад. Недостатня прозорість управління, корупція та інші проблеми створюють перешкоди на шляху до стабільної демократії. Крім того, геополітичне середовище впливає на процес формування демократичних цінностей в Україні. Висновки цього дослідження підкреслюють необхідність подальшої роботи над утвердженням громадянського суспільства в Україні. Реформи в сфері юстиції, боротьба з корупцією та зміцнення громадської участі є ключовими аспектами цього процесу. Крім того, важливо впроваджувати європейські стандарти та співпрацювати з міжнародними організаціями для підтримки демократичних перетворень в Україні. Результати дослідження має значний потенціал для подальшого розвитку політичної науки та сприяє розумінню складних політичних процесів, що відбуваються в Україні. Отримані результати можуть бути корисними для політичних діячів, науковців та інших зацікавлених сторін, що прагнуть зміцнити демократію та громадянське суспільство в Україні.
