Abstract: The Christian worship of ceremonial music is also known as holy music. Christianity includes Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant. Throughout the history of European music, Christian church music has been on the main axis, and holy music mainly refers to the ceremonial music of Catholic and Orthodox masses and the sacred music of the church during prayer. It conveys the revelation of God to people, but also expresses the reverence, praise, trust and prayer of God. Religious music is the source of art music in Europe. Before the 18th century, European music was dominated by church music, while church music was dominated by chant. The church choir is also one of the important forms of holy music worship. On September 8,1807, Robert Morrison the first missionary of the Protestant Christianity to China, came to Guangzhou with the help of the United States government and the American Christian community. Since Robert Morrison came to China, the influence of Christian Jesus has gradually spread in China. The Christian holy music has also been developed accordingly. This paper combines the experience of the author in the Chinese and overseas Chinese church poetry class professor, to discuss how the Christian chorus affects the spiritual culture of the contemporary Chinese people, and how to better interpret and express the Christian chorus.
