Філософія та методологія науки у контексті сучасної університетської освіти

Abstract

The urgency of the problem. The development of postgraduates’ philosophical-methodological training issues at a modern Ukrainian university becomes especially relevant in the scope of reforming higher education and the need to approximate it to world standards. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the need for significant improvement of the training, which is the fundamental basis of research activities of postgraduates (Master’s degrees). The problem cannot be solved without understanding the actual state of methodological training of degree-seeking students. Research methods and results. The contributors utilized dialectical and systematic approaches and methods of questionnaire, generalization, and interpretation. Emphasis is placed on the need for a significant reorientation of the training to the development of thinking, the formation of the ability to work not only within a specific paradigm but also in active communication with representatives of various scientific communities. The article is focused on the metatheoretical level of scientific methodology, the question of possibilities and limits of classical science methods’ application in scientific activity. The necessity of acquiring knowledge of the synergetic methodology basics is substantiated. The contributors developed a questionnaire and conducted a sociological study of the level of general scientific and philosophical-methodological training of intramural postgraduates (Master’s degrees) at Kherson State University. The aim of the study was to identify the attitude of degreeseeking students to scientific activities and their assessment of the methodological training’s quality during their studies. The contributors received answers to the questions regarding the awareness level of future postgraduates (Master’s degrees) with modern methodological approaches and methods, as well as their actual application in the process of writing course projects and graduation theses, scientific theses and articles. The results led to the conclusion that the level of methodological training is not high enough. The survey revealed the reluctance of the majority of respondents (89%) to choose science as a professional activity. In order to deepen the content and improve the forms of philosophical-methodological training of postgraduates (Master’s degrees), specific proposals were made regarding the educational process’ organization, methodological support of philosophical and general scientific subjects, and improving the methodological knowledge of the University’s teachers. Актуальність проблеми. Розробка питань філософсько-методологічної підготовки магістрів у сучасному українському університеті стає особливо актуальною в умовах реформування вищої освіти та потреби наближення її до світових стандартів. Метою статті є обґрунтування необхідності суттєвого вдосконалення цієї підготовки, що становить фундаментальну основу науково-дослідницької діяльності майбутніх магістрів. Ця задача не може бути розв’язана без розуміння реального стану методологічної підготовки здобувачів вищої освіти. Методи та результати дослідження. Авторами використані діалектичний і системний підходи, методи анкетування, узагальнення й інтерпретації. Наголошено на необхідності суттєвої переорієнтації навчання на розвиток мислення, формування здатності працювати не тільки у межах певної парадигми, але і в активних комунікаціях із представниками різних наукових співтовариств. Зосереджена увага на метатеоретичному рівні методології науки, на питанні можливостей і меж застосування у науковій діяльності методів класичної науки. Обґрунтована необхідність набуття знань із основ синергетичної методології. Авторами статі розроблена анкета та здійснене соціологічне дослідження рівня загальнонаукової та філософсько-методологічної підготовки здобувачів вищої освіти освітньо-кваліфікаційного рівня «магістр» денної форми навчання Херсонського державного університету. Мета дослідження – виявити ставлення здобувачів вищої освіти до наукової діяльності та їх оцінки якості методологічної підготовки під час навчання. Отримані відповіді на питання щодо рівня обізнаності майбутніх магістрів із сучасними методологічними підходами та методами, а також їх реальним застосуванням у процесі написання курсових і випускових робіт, наукових тез і статей. Зроблений висновок про недостатньо високий рівень методологічної підготовки. Опитування виявило небажання більшості опитаних (89%) обирати науку як професійну діяльність. З метою поглиблення змісту й удосконалення форм філософсько-методологічної освіти магістрів зроблені конкретні пропозиції, що стосуються організації навчального процесу, методичного забезпечення філософських і загальнонаукових дисциплін, а також підвищення рівня методологічних знань викладачів університету.
