Особливості впливу етнокультурних факторів на формування макрополітичної ідентичності в Україні

Abstract

The influences of cultural factors on the formation of macropolitical identity in Ukraine are considered. The relevance of the study is due to a combination of factors, including the lack of internal consolidation of the macropolitical community, the lack of a clear political program for its formation. At the same time, the problem of constructing a macropolitical identity is actualized by the consequences of a weakly reflected reaction to external aggression. The aim of the article is to study the influence of ethnocultural factors on the process of formation of macropolitical identity in Ukraine. In order to achieve the goal, the following tasks were solved: the historical preconditions that determined the modern conditions for involving cultural criteria in the formation of macropolitical identity were considered; the influence of ethnocultural factors on identity processes in Ukraine is studied; institutional ways of ethnic mobilization (management of cultural diversity) are identified, which do not contradict the task of ensuring the consolidation of the modern Ukrainian macropolitical community. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is the constructivist paradigm. The application of general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, comparative and historical analysis, as well as the generalization of the obtained results, – ensured the achievement of the goal of research and solution of the tasks. It is concluded that the practices of constructing macropolitical identity, which are widespread in Ukraine, are due to a set of theoretical attitudes mastered during the twentieth century and the influence of Soviet policy of identity formation. It is determined that such a traumatic experience, by its influence, forms certain social moods, typologically inherent in both post-Soviet and, to some extent, postcolonial societies, which significantly affects the political process. In particular, one of such influences is the idea of the primordial nature of national features, the significant involvement of cultural characteristics in the construction of the image of the Other, as well as the resentment, by its nature, attempt to define such the Other as antagonistic. It is noted that the tendency of othering on the basis of cultural criteria – creates certain risks of «imagination» of the Other in the political borders of the state, which may negatively affect the development of a strategy for the formation of macropolitical identity in Ukraine. Розглянуто впливи етнокультурних чинників на конструювання макрополітичної ідентичності в Україні. Актуальність дослідження зумовлена сукупністю факторів, серед яких – відсутність внутрішньої консолідації макрополітичної спільноти, чіткої політичної програми з її формування. Водночас актуалізують проблему конструювання макрополітичної ідентичності наслідки слабо рефлексованої реакції на зовнішню агресію. Метою статті виступає дослідження впливу на процес формування макрополітичної ідентичності в Україні етнокультурних чинників. Задля досягнення мети вирішено такі завдання: розглянуті історичні передумови, що зумовили сучасні умови залучення культурних критеріїв до формування макрополітичної ідентичності; досліджений вплив, що його чинять етнокультурні чинники на ідентитарні процеси в Україні; визначено інституціональні способи етнічної мобілізації (управління етнокультурним розмаїттям), які не суперечать завданням забезпечення консолідації сучасної української макрополітичної спільноти. Теоретико-методологічним підґрунтям дослідження виступає конструктивістська парадигма. Застосування загальнонаукових методів аналізу, синтезу, компаративного та історичного аналізу, а також узагальнення отриманих результатів забезпечили досягнення мети дослідження та вирішення поставлених завдань. Зроблено висновок, що практики конструювання макрополітичної ідентичності, що поширені в Україні, зумовлені комплексом засвоєних протягом ХХ століття теоретичних установок та впливом радянської політики формування ідентичності. Визначено, що такий травматичний досвід за своїм впливом формує певні суспільні настрої, типологічно притаманні як пострадянським, так і певною мірою постколоніальним суспільствам, що суттєво впливає на політичний процес. Зокрема, одним із таких впливів виступає уявлення про примордіальну природу національних рис, суттєве залучення культурних характеристик до вибудовування образу Іншого, а також ресентиментна, за своєю природою, спроба визначити такого Іншого як антагоністичного. Зазначається, що тенденції до іншування на основі культурних критеріїв створюють певні ризики «уявлення» Іншого в політичних кордонах держави, що може негативно позначитись на виробленні стратегії формування макрополітичної ідентичності в Україні.
