| Abstract: | The presented research deals with the difficult cases that might arise while translating Ancient Chinese treatises into English and Ukrainian. The original text of 孙子兵法 was analyzed in order to find the most common ways of translating Classical Chinese lexemes into English and Ukrainian. Some translation difficulties are outlined in the research. У представленому дослідженні розглядаються складні випадки, які можуть виникнути при перекладі давньокитайських трактатів англійською та українською мовами. Оригінальний текст 孙子兵法 було проаналізовано з метою пошуку найпоширеніших способів перекладу лексем класичної китайської мови англійською та українською мовами. У дослідженні окреслено деякі труднощі перекладу. |
