Філософема вибору в контексті сучасної філософії свідомості

Abstract

The phenomenon of choice is an essential characteristic of modern man and the conditions of his unique existence. The article is devoted to the issues of existential analysis that precede human choice, the definition of criteria and conditions for moral choice, and the role of alternative opportunities in the decision-making process and assessment of moral responsibility. The article deals with the problem of free will as a necessary condition for choice, beyond the traditional dichotomy of compatibilism – incompatibilism. The practical consequences of making the choice for the process of self-unfolding of the individual are outlined. The purpose of the article is to analyze the philosophy of choice as an independent act of consciousness, the problems and course of which are complicated by the fact that apart from purely rational factors, logical and verbal motives play an existential and psychosomatic, which are irrational in nature. Methods: Phenomenological, hermeneutic and critical methods, the method of philosophical reflection and textual analysis of sources. Results. The article reveals the correlations between the concepts of free will and choice and substantiates the basic approaches to their understanding in ethics, psychology and philosophy in the context of modern civilization transformation. The criteria and conditions of moral choice are determined. The phenomenon of alternative possibilities and its role in the process of decision making and assessment of moral responsibility are analyzed. The article explains some aspects of metaphysical grounds for understanding the philosophy of choice. Choice is interpreted as a specific practice of self that is expressed both existentially and discursively as well as through forms of life activity. The choice is interpreted as a manifestation of acquired identity. Particularly emphasized is the correlation between the ethical interpretation of the philosophy of choice and its interpretation in the context of the analytical paradigm in philosophy. The perspective directions of studying the philosophy of choice in ethical as well as in analytically-discursive aspects in the context of both practical philosophy and metaphysics were also clarified. У статті з’ясовано кореляції між концептами свободи волі та вибору, обґрунтовано основні підходи до їх розуміння в етиці, психології та філософії в умовах сучасної цивілізаційної трансформації. Досліджено феномен вибору як сутнісну характеристику сучасної людини та умови її унікального буття. Розглянуто питання екзистенційного аналізу, яке передує людському вибору. Визначено критерії та умови морального вибору. Проаналізовано феномен альтернативних можливостей та його роль в процесі прийняття рішення і оцінки моральної відповідальності. У статті роз’яснено деякі аспекти метафізичних підстав розуміння філософеми вибору. Також намічено напрями подальшого аналізу філософеми вибору в дискурсивно-аналітичному вимірі смислів. Особливо підкреслено кореляцію між етичною інтерпретацією філософеми вибору та її тлумаченням у контексті аналітичної парадигми у філософії. Вибір розглянуто як складову частину ціннісного самовизначення, але при цьому поза неминучою раціоналізацією цього процесу. Вибір проінтерпретовано як специфічну практику себе, яка виражається як екзистенційно, так і дискурсивно, а також через форми життєдіяльності. Вибір при цьому тлумачиться як вияв набутої ідентичності. У статті розглянуто проблематику свободи волі як необхідної умови вибору, поза традиційною вже дихотомією компатибілізму ‒ інкомпатибілізму. Окреслено практичні наслідки здійснення вибору для процесу саморозгортання особистості. Також з’ясовано перспективні напрямки вивчення філософеми вибору як в етичному, так і в аналітично-дискурсивному аспектах у контексті як практичної філософії, так і метафізики. Метою статті є аналіз філософеми вибору як самостійного акта свідомості, проблематика і перебіг якого ускладнюється тим, що, крім суто раціональних чинників, велику роль відіграють дологічні та довербальні мотиви як екзистенційні та психосоматичні, які є ірраціональними за своєю природою. Застосовано феноменологічний, герменевтичний та критичний методи. Важливим у процесі написання статті було використання методу філософської рефлексії та текстуального аналізу джерел.
