Екзистенції віртуального простору в сучасних соціокультурних умовах

Abstract

The research of the existences of the virtual space allows us to assert the convergence of the social world with the virtual world. Modern information technology has far more potential than the technology of earlier eras, which only emphasized the irresistible boundaries between the human and nature world and the technology world. Virtual space, as an over-spatial and temporal element of the sociocultural space of modern society, initiates fundamental changes in social space and time that have historically restricted the movement of information. Appealing to M. McLuhan, it can be stated that “time” has stopped, and “space” has disappeared, that is, humanity lives in a global village. In addition, computer communication makes the space indefinitely plastic, and also transforms it into a logical continuation of the process of freeing people from spatial limitations with virtually all its social manifestations. The convergence of computer and communication technologies makes it possible to constantly exchange information online from the simplest forms of communication between two people to mass communication between large social groups at high speed. Complex and constant changes in the social space under the influence of the latest infocommunication technologies lead to the emergence of spatial structures of the digital age, which significantly influence the manifestations of sociocultural life of social institutions, groups and individuals. The boundaries of the segment of interaction between social and virtual space of modern society are increasingly leveled under the influence of the following factors: first, the integration of virtual space with social space is a specific form of sociocultural interaction; second, the virtual space segment is steadily increasing as sophisticated information and communication technologies become more sophisticated, causing a certain metaphysical paradox: virtual space enhances the transformation of social space. Дослідження екзистенцій віртуального простору дозволяє стверджувати конвергенцію соціального світу зі світом віртуальним. Сучасні інформаційні технології мають значно більший потенціал, ніж технології попередніх епох, які тільки підкреслювали непереборні кордони між світом людини і природи і світом техніки. Віртуальний простір як позапросторовий і позачасовий елемент соціокультурного простору сучасного суспільства ініціює фундаментальні зміни соціального простору та часу, які історично обмежували рух інформації. Апелюючи до М. Маклюена, можна констатувати, що «час» припинився, а «простір» зник, тобто людство живе у глобальному селі. До того ж комп’ютерна комунікація робить простір невизначено пластичним, а також перетворює його на логічне продовження процесу звільнення людей від просторових обмежень практично з усіма його соціальними проявами. Конвергенція комп’ютерних і комунікаційних технологій робить можливим постійний інтерактивний обмін інформацією: від найпростіших форм комунікації між двома людьми до масових комунікацій між великими соціальними групами з високою швидкістю. Комплексні і постійні зміни в соціальному просторі під впливом новітніх інфокомунікаційних технологій призводять до появи просторових структур цифрової епохи, що значно впливають на прояви соціокультурної життєдіяльності соціальних інститутів, груп та окремих індивідів. Межі сегменту взаємодії соціального і віртуального простору сучасного суспільства все більшою мірою нівелюються під впливом наступних факторів: по-перше, інтеграція віртуального простору із простором соціальним представляє собою специфічну форму соціокультурної взаємодії; по-друге, сегмент віртуального простору постійно збільшується за мірою ускладнення і вдосконалення новітніх інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій, викликаючи певний метафізичний парадокс: віртуальний простір підсилює трансформації простору соціального.
