Сучасна українська вишивка: знак, образ та символ у мистецтві Ганни Онікієнко

Abstract

У статті розкриваються витоки образів та символів в українській народній вишивці. Окреслено, що незважаючи на широке коло публікацій, присвячених українській народній вишивці, одним із важливих завдань є висвітлення того факту, що вона має соціокультурні образно-символічні витоки. З огляду на мету статті про розгляд історії української народної вишивки та виявлення витоків знаків, образів та символів у сучасній українській вишивці в мистецтві Ганни Онікієнко обґрунтовано суттєві характеристики сучасної української вишивки. Зазначено, що особливістю української вишивки є те, що під час її створення майстер створює дуже сильний оберіг, що притаманно і творчості Ганни Михайлівни Онікієнко. Виявляється, що художній образ в її творчості виступає як спосіб та мова мистецтва, а тому необхідно з’ясовувати сутність образу і символу, оскільки це є однією із суттєвих характеристик сучасної української вишивки. У висновках зроблено певні узагальнення, що в контексті виявлення витоків знаків, образів та символів в українській народній вишивці художній образ виступає як спосіб осмислення світу і як мова мистецтва, загальна характеристика художньої творчості. З’ясовується сутність символу, і окреслено, що він виступає як одна із суттєвих характеристик свідомості та підсвідомості, які впливають на всі сфери психічного життя та онтологічні практики індивіда. У перспективах подальшого дослідження проблеми заявлено, що дане дослідження сучасної української вишивки свідчить, що ця тема може бути подовжена до розкриття, й особливо в контексті проявлення її специфічної образно-символічної художньої мови в сучасному мистецькому просторі. The article reveals the origins of images and symbols in Ukrainian folk embroidery. It is emphasized that despite the wide range of publications devoted to Ukrainian folk embroidery, one of the important tasks is to highlight the fact that it has socio-cultural figurative-symbolic origins. Based on the purpose of the article on the history of Ukrainian folk embroidery and identifying the origins of signs, images and symbolism in modern Ukrainian embroidery in the art of Anna Onikienko, substantiate the essential characteristics of modern Ukrainian embroidery. It is noted that to reveal the essential characteristics of modern Ukrainian embroidery, we consider it appropriate to pay attention to the interpretation of the sign, image and symbol, which are involved in the art of Anna Onikienko. We find that the artistic image in her work acts as a way and language of art, and therefore it is necessary to clarify the essence of the image and symbol, as this is one of the essential characteristics of modern Ukrainian embroidery. It is emphasized that in the socio-cultural aspect images and symbols in their semantic and meaning-forming order acquire special significance and special sound in the space of modern Ukrainian embroidery, in particular, in the works of Anna Onikienko. The peculiarity of Ukrainian embroidery, which is also characteristic of Anna Onikienko, is that by creating it, the master creates a very strong amulet. The conclusions make some generalizations that in the context of identifying the origins of signs, images and symbols in Ukrainian folk embroidery, it turns out that the artistic image acts as a way of understanding the world and as a language of art, a general characteristic of artistic creativity. The essence of the symbol is clarified, and it is outlined that it acts as one of the essential characteristics of consciousness and subconsciousness, which affect all spheres of mental life and ontological practices of the individual. The peculiarity of Ukrainian embroidery is that by creating it, the master creates a very strong amulet, which is inherent in the work of Anna Mikhailovna Onikienko. Each of the embroidered signs, images and symbols continues to embody a certain concept: viburnum – blood and immortal kind (shirts embroidered with viburnum were given to mothers); oak – development, life, strength (it could often be seen on men's shirts); grapes are a symbol of joy and beauty; (it was used on the embroidery of wedding tablecloths); poppy – a protection against evil (they often embroidered shirts of soldiers); lily–- a symbol of maiden beauty and innocence (it usually adorned their shirts young girls who were ready for the wedding); hops – a riot of young life, love (they can be seen on the clothes of young men). In the perspectives of further research of the problem it is stated that this study of modern Ukrainian embroidery shows that this topic can be extended to disclosure, and especially in the context of its specific figurative – symbolic artistic language in the contemporary art space.
