Самостійна робота студентів як основа сучасних науково-практичних тенденцій

Abstract

Присвячено актуальності організації самостійної роботи студентів у закладах вищої освіти. Схарактеризовано типи та особливості самостійної роботи студентів, визначено рівень необхідної залученості та організаційних дій із боку викладача, а також найефективніші прийоми активізації самостійної роботи студентів. Студенти, які ставлять власні цілі навчання, мають більше впевненості, щоб брати на себе складніші завдання, не залежно від їхніх здібностей. Їх мотивація до поліпшення й освоєння завдання поліпшується, самооцінка залишається сильною, навіть у разі невдачі. Коли студентам допомагають заглибитися у власні процеси мислення та навчання, вони привертають увагу до ефективності стратегій, які вони використовували для досягнення поставлених ними цілей нав чання. Планування дій, моніторинг прогресу в досягненні цієї мети та оцінка результатів можуть допомогти студентам брати на себе більший контроль над своїм мисленням і процесами навчання та оснастити їх навичками навчання. Усі етапи циклу важливі, і на практиці вони перетинаються. Стратегії досягнення особистих цілей навчання повинні враховуватися при розробленні студентами своїх цілей протягом усього процесу моніторингу, відображати і спиратися на стиль навчання студентів, їхню здатність до незалежного навчання, особисті особливості та конкретні цілі навчан ня, які вони ставлять. Студентам також необхідно формувати поінформоване та глибоке розуміння власної поведінки та навчання. The paper is focused on the actualities of organization and supporting of students’ individual study and determines the level of necessary teachers’ involvement and participation in students’ decision-making, the most effective methods to stimulate students’ individual study. Amoung personal students’ learning goals are improving students’ learning style and achievement and building students’ ability to learn. They help students become active participants in the learning process, empower students to become independent learners, and motivate them to reach their full potential. Previous research in students’ motivation and efficiency has indicated that students those set their own working goals tend to achieve more than when working on goals set for them by the teacher. Students who set their own learning goals have more confidence to take on more challenging tasks, regardless of their ability. Their motivation to do a task increases and their self-esteem remains strong, even in the case of failure. When students are assisted to delve into their own thinking and learning processes, they are drawn to think about the effectiveness of the strategies they used to achieve the learning goals they set. Planning what to do, monitoring progress towards achieving it and evaluating the outcomes can help students take more control over their thinking and learning processes and equip them with learning to learn skills. All elements of the cycle are important and overlap in practice. Strategies to achieve personal learning goals should be considered while students develop their goals and throughout the monitoring process. To plan and work on these strategies, students need help to develop clear and simple strategies and draw on a range of approaches. The strategies should reflect and build on students’ learning styles, their ability for independent learning, their personal characteristics and the specific learning goals they set. Students also need to build an informed and insightful understanding of their own behavior and learning.
