Abstract

The article is examined the immigration processes of the Republic of Korea, which are the consequences of globalization and the refugee crisis. Considerable attention is paid to transnational migration and the problem of reception and integration of immigrants into Korean society in the context of national identity preservation policies. It`s is carried out the analysis of immigration processes and transformation of migration policy of the Republic of Korea. The article is used general and special-political research methods to obtain scientific results, namely methods of analysis, comparison, synthesis, deduction, method of structuralpolitical analysis and others. There is determined the main determinants of intensification of migration processes. It`s identified the categories of immigrants that are most characteristic of the Republic of Korea, as well as the specifics of immigration policy. The article is determined the influence of labor migration on the formation of the migration policy of the Republic of Korea and there are analyzed the processes of transformation of the country into a countryrecipient of migrants. The article is analyzed regulations on the problems of determining refugee status. It`s being reviewed the socio-political refugee crisis on the Korean island of Jeju. The article is analyzed the readiness of the society of the Republic of Korea to accept refugees and other categories of immigrants in the conditions of preservation of traditions. It’s examined isolation of the issue of granting humanitarian status to immigrants and its difference from other migration statuses. It’s determined the ways of solving the migration problems of the Republic of Korea. The article is analyzed the approach of the Korean government to the policy of integration and multiculturalism and its specifics in the Republic of Korea. There is analyzed the main beneficiaries of integration policy in the Republic of Korea. It is determined that the processes of transformation of migration policy and procedures for the integration of immigrants into Korean society are slowed down by the unwillingness of society and political institutions to change in the context of preserving national identity. There is evaluated activities of non-governmental organizations in the process of integration of refugees and other categories of immigrants. У статті розглядаються імміграційні процеси Республіки Корея, що є наслідками глобалізаційних процесів та кризи біженців. Значна увага приділяється транснаціональній міграції та проблемі прийому та інтеграції іммігрантів у корейське суспільство в контексті політики збереження національної ідентичності. Здійснений аналіз імміграційних процесів та трансформація міграційної політики Республіки Корея. У статті використовуються загальні та спеціально-політичні методи дослідження для отримання наукових результатів, а саме методи аналізу, порівняння, синтезу, дедукції, метод структурно-політичного аналізу та інші. Визначаються основні детермінанти інтенсифікації міграційних процесів. Виокремлюються категорії іммігрантів, що найбільш характерні для Республіки Корея, а також специфіка імміграційної політики. Визначається вплив трудової міграції на формування міграційної політики Республіки Корея та аналізуються процеси перетворення країни на країну-реципієнта мігрантів. Аналізуються нормативно-правові акти з проблем визначення статусу біженця. Здійснюється огляд соціально-політичної кризи біженців на корейському острові Чеджу. Аналізується готовність суспільства Республіки Корея до прийняття біженців та інших категорій іммігрантів в умовах збереження традицій. Виокремлення проблематики надання іммігрантам гуманітарного статусу та його відмінність від інших міграційних статусів. Визначаються шляхи вирішення міграційних проблем Республіки Корея. У статті аналізується підхід корейського уряду до політики інтеграції та мультикультуралізму та її специфіки в Республіці Корея. Аналізуються основні бенефіціари політики інтеграції в Республіці Корея. Визначено, що процеси трансформації міграційної політики та процедури інтеграції іммігрантів у корейське суспільство сповільнюються неготовністю безпосередньо суспільства та політичних інституцій до змін у контексті збереження національної ідентичності. Здійснюється оцінка діяльності негромадських та неурядових організацій в процесі інтеграції біженців та інших категорій іммігрантів.
