У статті дан аналіз ступеня вивченості питання масонської соціальної філософії та її зв’язку із процесом модернізації суспільства. Масонська парадигма в багатовіковому процесі суспільно-історичного прогресу показала свою універсальність та дієвість. Масони відводили філософії центральну роль у вченні свого Ордену, аж до ототожнення масонства та філосо- фії, проектуючи на уявлення про цілі та структуру Ордену уявлення про цілі та структурі філософського знання. .
