Особливості емоційного інтелекту жінок та чоловіків

Abstract

У статті розглядаються результати теоретико-емпіричного дослідження особливостей емоційного ін- телекту жінок та чоловіків. На основі аналізу психологічної літератури розкривається зміст та структурні

складові емоційного інтелекту як психологічного явища, систематизуються традиційні та сучасні підходи до

його розуміння, розглядаються специфічні функції емоційного інтелекту. В якості комплексу показників емо- ційного інтелекту жінок та чоловіків вивчалися: міжособистісний і внутрішньо-особистісний емоційний інте- лект, розуміння і управління власними та чужими емоціями, контроль експресії. У дослідженні представлені

результати кореляційного та якісного аналізу показників емоційного інтелекту у жінок та чоловіків. Згідно з

отриманими результатами, виявлено, що емоційний інтелект чоловіків переважає за наступними показника- ми: «розпізнавання емоцій інших людей», «емпатія», «управління своїми емоціями». У той час як у жінок пере- важають значення за показниками: «емоційної обізнаності», «емпатія». Тому, встановлено, що жінки здатні

набагато краще розпізнавати і підтримувати емоційний стан, виявляти і демонструвати свої почуття відк- рито, чоловіки – навпаки показали високий рівень стриманості у прояві своїх емоцій, що у теперішній час до- зволяє їм більш наполегливіше домагатися поставлених цілей..The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical studies of the emotional intelligence of women and men. The characteristics and the basic features of emotional intelligence as a psychological phenomenon are given.

Based on the analysis of the psychological literature the author reveals the contents and structural components of emo- tional intelligence as a psychological phenomenon, systematizes traditional and modern approaches to understanding,

considers the specific features of emotional intelligence. As a set of indicators of emotional intelligence of men and women the following types were studied: interpersonal and inner personal emotional intelligence, understanding and management of one’s own and other people's emotions and their expression control. The research presents the results of the correlation analysis and qualitative indicators of emotional intelligence of men and women. According to the results,

it is revealed that in the characteristics of emotional intelligence of men dominate higher values according to the follow- ing parameters: recognition of emotions of others, a tendency to empathy, control over their emotions. At the same

time, with women the values predominate only in terms of indices: emotional awareness, a tendency to empathy. It was

found that women are able to better recognize and support the emotional state, to identify and show their feelings open- ly, men, on the contrary, showed a high level of restraint in the manifestation of their emotions, that allows today to

achieve their goals in more persistent manner.
