Психологічна характеристика індивідуального іміджу сучасного педагога

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problems of such specific phenomenon of social behaviour as the individual image and its role in social communications. The author states that image behaviour influences the efficacy of pedagogical process. The article presents the individual image as a selfpresentation symbol reflecting a range of social behaviour stereotypes purposed for saving and reproduction of social structures. A teacher’s image is considered as an important aspect of professionalism and certain means of pedagogical influence on school children. A modern teacher’s image according to the author’s opinion is a result of professional forming of a teacher’s personality.
