Психолого-методичний потенціал використання інтерактивної технології «кіноклуб» для формування компетентності в англомовному аудіюванні на матеріалі автентичних документальних фільмів в учнів профільної школи

Abstract

У статті всебічно досліджено потенціал використання авторської технології інтерактивного навчання «кіноклуб» («інтерактивний кіноклуб») на матеріалі автентичних документальних фільмів у формуванні компетентності в англомовному аудіюванні старшокласників. Актуальність дослідження зумовлена зростаючою потребою профільної школи в ефективних, надійних і водночас гнучких інструментах підвищення навчальної мотивації, розвитку стратегічних аудитивних умінь та залучення учнів до осмисленої, цілеспрямованої й емоційно значущої взаємодії з автентичним іншомовним контентом в умовах цифровізації, мультимедизації освіти та інтенсивного зростання інформаційного навантаження. Метою статті є визначення психолінгвістичних, методичних і комунікативних особливостей аудіювання як виду мовленнєвої діяльності, докладна характеристика інтерактивної технології «кіноклуб», з’ясування її дидактичного, мотиваційного та когнітивного потенціалу для цілеспрямованого, поетапного й результативного формування компетентності в англомовному аудіюванні учнів профільної школи на основі автентичних документальних фільмів. The study explores the potential of an interactive learning approach, the “film club”, using authentic documentary films to develop English listening competence among high school students in specialized programs. The relevance of this research is determined by the increasing need for effective strategies to enhance learners’ motivation, critical thinking, and receptive skills in the context of digital and multimedia education. The article aims to identify psycholinguistic, methodological, and cognitive features of listening as a type of language activity, describe the interactive “film club” technology, and examine its application for fostering English listening competence and socio-emotional engagement in high school students. The research employed a qualitative analysis of the technology’s implementation, including classroom observations, structured interviews, and analysis of students’ reflective reports, to evaluate its impact on learners’ cognitive, social, and emotional involvement. Findings indicate that the “film club” facilitates the development of listening strategies at multiple levels of complexity, strengthens intercultural understanding, and enhances collaborative skills, which are essential for sustainable learning motivation and the development of autonomous learning behaviors. The study also substantiates the psychological and methodological potential of the “film club” approach, highlighting its adaptability to diverse learning contexts, and outlines the principles for designing an effective teaching methodology.
