Abstract

Дисертаційна робота присвячена комплексному, багатоаспектному та міждисциплінарному дослідженню феномену інформаційного протиборства, що є однією з найбільш визначальних та складних характеристик сучасного світового політичного процесу. Актуальність обраної теми дослідження є надзвичайно високою та зумовлена фундаментальними трансформаціями, які переживає людство на початку ХХІ століття. Ключовою рушійною силою цих змін є стрімкий та всеосяжний розвиток інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій, що призвело до формування якісно нової реальності – цифрового простору. Саме в цьому віртуальному середовищі розгортаються основні події політичного життя, формується громадська думка, здійснюється комунікація між політичними акторами та громадянами, а також все інтенсивніше проявляються різноманітні форми політичної конкуренції та конфронтації, які отримали загальну назву інформаційного протиборства. The dissertation by Serhii Vasylovych Rutskyi undertakes a comprehensive, multifaceted, and interdisciplinary investigation into the phenomenon of information warfare, a defining and complex characteristic of the contemporary global political process, which is increasingly unfolding within the dominance of digital technologies and the global Internet network. The topicality of this research is exceptionally high, driven by the fundamental transformations humanity is undergoing at the beginning of the 21st century. A key driving force behind these changes is the rapid and allencompassing development of information and communication technologies, leading to the formation of a qualitatively new reality – cyberspace. It is within this virtual environment that the main events of political life unfold, public opinion is formed, communication between political actors and citizens takes place, and various forms of political competition and confrontation, collectively termed information warfare, are increasingly manifested.
