European studies as a leading vector of the modern education system

Abstract

Актуальність даної статті полягає у тому, що європейська інтеграція є свідомим вибором українського суспільства. Тому сьогодні актуальним є питання про проблеми та перспективи європейської інтеграції вітчизняної освіти. У статті розглядається стан процесу інтеграції сучасної вітчизняної освітньої системи в європейський простір та визначається роль європейських студій для створення та розповсюдження єдиних стандартів освіти, обговорюються деякі з найбільш актуальних проблем, з якими стикаються дослідники освітньої політики України. Мета дослідження – визначити основні проблеми, пов’язані з розвитком європейських студій в освітньому секторі та визначити пріоритетні напрямки для просування української освіти в європейський простір. The article examines the state of the process of integration of the modern domestic education system into the European space and determines the role of European studies for the creation and dissemination of uniform standards of education, discusses some of the most urgent problems faced by researchers of educational policy of Ukraine. The purpose of the research is to determine the main problems related to the development of European studies in the educational sector and to determine the priority directions for the promotion of Ukrainian education in the European space. As a result of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: in the globalized world, domestic educational institutions today should increase educational achievements, preserve their identity and cultural values and traditions. The study of foreign experience in the development of educational areas should become a solid basis for the further process of reforming education, improving its quality, increasing attractiveness and competitiveness in the international arena. European Studies is an interdisciplinary science that explores various aspects of European history, politics, culture, economy and society.
