Influence of Native Chinese on English Learning Based on Language Transfer Theory

Abstract

The theory of language transfer plays an important role in the study of second language acquisition. Language transfer is not only a simple language transfer, but also influenced by cognitive and cultural factors. The Chinese native language may interfere with the pronunciation accuracy of English learners at the phonetic level. In terms of vocabulary, it is easy to confuse the meaning of words. Syntactically, it is easy to cause word order errors; In terms of discourse construction, cultural differences can affect coherence. This paper aims to explore the influence of Chinese mother tongue on English learning through an in-depth study of the phenomenon of language transfer, focusing on the transfer effect of Chinese mother tongue on English learning at the phonological, lexical, syntactic and discourse levels. Теорія перекладу мови відіграє важливу роль у вивченні засвоєння другої мови. Передача мови — це не лише проста передача мови, але й під впливом когнітивних і культурних факторів. Китайська рідна мова може заважати точній вимові тих, хто вивчає англійську, на фонетичному рівні. З точки зору лексики, легко сплутати значення слів. Синтаксично легко викликати помилки порядку слів; З точки зору побудови дискурсу, культурні відмінності можуть впливати на узгодженість. Ця стаття має на меті дослідити вплив китайської рідної мови на вивчення англійської мови шляхом поглибленого вивчення феномену мовного переносу.
