| Abstract: | The oikonymy of the modern Chernigov region has been the subject of research many times. However, so far there is no complete or comprehensive study of it. The topicality of the proposed study. This article presents a tiny fragment of the future historical and etymological dictionary of oikonyms of Chernigov region. The novelty of the research. The explanation of the Chronicle oikonym Rogoshcha proposed in the article has not been found before. The used methods: etymological and comparative-historical, internal reconstruction methods. |
