Особистісна та суспільна емансипація у постмодерній сучасності

Abstract

The contemporaneity of our time is by definition considered postmodern. One of its most characteristic features is the comprehensive emancipation of individuals, communities and civilizations. In addition to the obvious and gigantic worldview breakthrough to freedom of expression, this process has naturally created new challenges in the intellectual, value-spiritual, and socio-cultural spheres of life. Their intrinsic nature and semantic charge require not only assertion or interpretation, but also deeper explanation in order to clarify where the postmodern self-definitions are aimed at and what is their heuristic potential for the life of the individual and humanity. The dilemmas outlined constitute the topicality of the proposed research. The aim of the article is to consider the characteristic features of postmodern emancipation in the context of ways to overcome personal and social crises that accompany contemporaneity. The objectives set are the following: to analyze the conceptual and semantic problems of the postmodern ‘state of mind’ in two aspects: 1) as an immanent accompanying component of worldview and world perception inherent in modern times; 2) as an actual-substantial form of contemporaneity, which does not destroy, but complements the basic processes of modernization for interpersonal understanding and social dialogue. The general scientific methods that have been applied in the research are the following: method of generalization,comparative and systemic method. The specific philosophical methods used herein include dialectical and semiotic approaches. The following results were achieved: terminological-conceptual and ideological-worldview difficulties accompanying the Postmodern era were considered herein. The thesis that such uncertainty is almost impossible to eliminate, as it is inherent in the spirit of emancipation of modern times has been confirmed herein. With the help of the selected ideas expressed by the sociologists, culturologists and philosophers, the problematic nature of the syncretism of the postmodern «state of mind» in its internal and external manifestations, including individual and social confusion, has been traced. It is substantiated that the latest emancipation does not deny the idea of progress, although it radically decentralizes it, using discursive visions instead of narrative ones. The expediency of the longevity of the experience of modernity, which under the influence of larger and smaller crises does not stop, but, on the contrary, even strengthens, is analyzed. It is proved that the phenomenon of freedom in postmodern times remains the main basis and goal of individual self-realization and social solidarity. Сучасність наших часів за визначенням вважається постмодерною. Однією із її найхарактерніших ознак є всебічна емансипація індивідів, спільнот, цивілізацій. Окрім очевидного і велетенського світоглядного прориву до свободовиявлення, цей процес закономірно породив нові виклики і у інтелектуальних, і у ціннісно-духовних, і в соціально-культурних сферах життєдіяльності. Їх сутнісна природа та смислові навантаження вимагають не лише констатації чи інтерпретації, а й глибшого пояснення, аби прояснити, куди ж спрямовані постмодерні самоокреслення і яким є їх евристичний потенціал для життя особи і цілого людства. Окреслені дилеми і складають актуальність пропонованої розвідки. Метою статті є розглянути характерні ознаки постмодерної емансипації у контексті шляхів подолання особистісних і соціальних криз, що супроводжують сучасність. Поставлено завдання – проаналізувати ідейно-смислову проблематичність постмодерного «стану духу» у двох аспектах: 1) як іманентно притаманну новітнім часам супровідну складову частину світобачення і світорозуміння; 2) як актуально-субстанційну форму сучасності, що не руйнує, а доповнює базові процеси модернізації задля міжособистісного порозуміння й суспільно- го діалогу. Застосовано методи: із загальнонаукових – узагальнення, порівняння та системний; із конкретно філософських – діалектичний та семіотичний підходи. Досягнуті такі результати: розглянуто термінологічно-поняттєві та ідейно-світоглядні труднощі, що супроводять добу Постмодерну. Підтверджено тезу про те, що подібну невизначеність майже неможливо усунути, оскільки вона іманентно притаманна духу емансипації новітніх часів. За допомогою вибраних міркувань соціологів, культурологів та філософів простежено проблематичність синкретизму постмодерного «стану духу» як у його внутрішніх, так і зовнішніх проявах, зокрема індивідуальній і суспільній розгубленості. Обґрунтовано, що новітня емансипація не заперечує ідеї поступу, хоч радикально її децентралізує, використовуючи вже не наративні, а дискурсивні бачення. Проаналізовано доцільність тяглості досвідів модерності, яка під впливом більших і менших криз не припиняється, а, навпаки, навіть зміцнюється. Доведено, що саме феномен свободи і у постмодерні часи залишається основною підставою і метою індивідуального самоздійснення та суспільної солідарності.
