Символіка як метафоричне сприйняття та вербалізація навколишнього світу

Abstract

У статті розглядаємо метафоричний метод концептуалізації довкілля як основний для сприйняття та розуміння людиною. Концептні перенесення між окремими підструктурами мови формують загальну понятійну систему знань людини, яка стосується основних етнокультурних символів. Під метафоричним кодом розуміємо метафору сталу, відому й семантично прозору, яка функціює в певній етноспільноті. In the article the metaphorical method of conceptualizing the environment as the main for human perception and understanding is researched. Conceptual transferences between separate substructures of language form a common conceptual system of human knowledge that relates to the main ethnocultural symbols. We specify the metaphor of constant, known and semantically transparent, which functions in a certain ethno-community as the metaphorical code. The purpose of the article is to reveal the influence of postmodern motives and moods prevailing in modern society on the material of women's novels and to demonstrate metaphorical models-symbols that prevail in postmodern Ukrainian texts. The main research method is the discourse-sociolinguistic approach; symbolism is distinguished by ethnographic analysis, using discourse analysis to determine the relevant context. We refer to the text as a statement, as a component of communication, on the basis of which we formulate certain statements about its authors. Thus, the source base of the study is an indicator of the phenomena – symbols, and the authors and the main heroes of the texts – carriers of verbalized specific perception of the environment. We conclude that the correlation of the image, symbol and metaphor can be represented as a coordinate system, the central point of which is the image, the vertical dimension is the symbol, and the horizontal – the metaphor. The image is syncretic in nature, but to understand it requires verbalization and concretization, which are carried out through symbolization and metaphorization. Symbol is a field of the main cultural meanings. Metaphor is the principle of combining all elements of reality into a single picture. In this case, the development of a holistic picture of the world is realized through the mechanism of transfer and simulation.
