Місце національної ідентичності в системі ідентичностей: теоретичний та практичний виміри

Abstract

Стаття присвячена типологізації та ієрархізації ідентифікаційної сфери, зокрема, визначенню місця національної ідентичності серед інших типів соціокультурних ідентичностей. Звертаючись до досвіду знаних учених, авторка стверджує, що можна побудувати певну ієрархію ідентичностей у вигляді кількох орбіталей, і найближчим до смислового ядра існування особистості буде національна ідентичність. Водночас у статті зазначається, що вчені частково висвітлюють сферу ієрархізації та кореляції ідентичностей, присвячуючи свою дослідницьку увагу, як правило, дихотомічному поділу ідентичностей, зокрема, поділяючи її на такі пари, як національну та державну ідентичність, національну та етнічну ідентичність тощо. Цілісні дослідження, які б охоплювали весь спектр соціально-культурних ідентичностей і детально аналізували їх кореляцію між собою, майже відсутні. Тому авторка вважає, що окреслена тема є актуальною, і ставила собі за мету побудувати чітку ієрархію ідентичностей, які дотичні до національної ідентичності. У роботі стверджується, що між ідентичностями може виникати «конфлікт ідентичностей», котрий відбувається не тільки на теоретичному, а й на практично- прикладному рівні. Останній породжує серйозні соціально-політичні конфлікти. Авторка зазначає, що варто поділяти поняття «національної» та «етнічної ідентичності» в концептах «політичної» та «етнічної» нації: перша ґрунтується на громадянській ідентичності, але не вичерпується нею, а друга виникає в разі збігу «етносу» та «нації» в моноетнічних державах. Звертаючись до поняття «громадянська ідентичність», авторка віддає їй пріоритет перед державною ідентичністю у складі формування національної ідентичності. Національну ідентичність трактує найбільш широко – остання охоплює й парадигму «громадянської ідентичності», й етнічний компонент (тією чи іншою мірою, залежно від конструкту «нації»), й концепт державної ідентичності. У різних історичних та життєвих ситуаціях на перший план виходить той чи інший її складник. Національній ідентичності надається й вагомого інструментального значення – вона має бути придатна для інтеграції суспільства та подолання нестабільності в ньому. The article deals with the typology and hierarchy of the identification sphere. In particular, the place of national identity among other types of socio-cultural identities. Drawing on the experience of well-known scientists, the author argues that it is possible to construct a certain hierarchy of identities in the form of several orbitals, and the closest to the semantic nucleus of the existence of personality will be national identity. At the same time, the article notes that scientists partially cover the sphere of hierarchy and correlation of identities, devoting their research attention, as a rule, to the dichotomous division of identities, in particular, dividing it into pairs such as national and state identity, national and ethnic identity. Comprehensive studies covering the entire spectrum of sociocultural identities and analyzing their correlation in detail are almost absent. Therefore, the author considers that the outlined topic is relevant and aims to build a clear hierarchy of identities that are relevant to national identity. The paper argues that there may be an “identity conflict” between identities, which occurs not only at the theoretical but also at the practical and applied level. The latter gives rise to serious socio-political conflicts. The author notes that the concept of “national” and “ethnic identity” should be divided into the concepts of “political” and “ethnic” nation: the first is based on civic identity, but is not exhausted by it, and the second arises in the case of “ethnos” and “nation” in mono-ethnic states. Turning to the concept of “civic identity”, the author gives her priority over state identity as part of the formation of national identity. National identity is interpreted most widely – the latter includes both “civic identity” paradigm, and the ethnic component (to varying degrees, depending on the “nation” construct), and the concept of state identity. In various historical and life situations, one or another of its components comes to the fore. National identity is also given significant instrumental value – it must be capable of integrating society and overcoming instability in it.
