Abstract

The article reflects the extraordinary issue of nowadays use of creative heritage of educational and linguodidactics specialists from the second half of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century. It is well-proven that in the conditions of national revival of people, culture and education, there is a necessity to address to the creative legacy of prominent teachers and methodists such as K. D. Alchevskaya, B. D. Hrinchenko, M. P. Drahomanov, P. G. Zhitetsky, N. Karazin, A.Y. Konissky, M. A. Korf, N. I. Kostomarov, P.A. Kulish, M. N. Maksimovich, I. S. Nechuy-Levytsky, I. S. Orlay, K. D. Ushinsky, P. P. Chubinsky on purpose to define the ways of updating, the facilities of reformation and upgrading modern education and the drawing on their accomplishments at modern higher school. У статті доведено, що в умовах національного відродження народу, культури й освіти виникає потреба зверенення до творчої спадщини видатних педагогів і методистів Х. Д. Алчевської, Б. Д. Грінченка, М. П. Драгоманова, П. Г. Житецького, Н. Каразіна, О. Я. Кониського, М. О. Корфа, М. І. Костомарова, П. О. Куліша, М. Н. Максимовича, І. С. Нечуй-Левицького, І. С. Орлая, К. Д. Ушинського, П. П. Чубинського з метою визначити шляхи оновлення, засоби реформування й підвищення якості сучасної освіти, використання їх досягнень у сучасній вищій школі.
