Становлення національної ідентичності в умовах міжкультурної комунікації

Abstract

The article is devoted to highlighting the problems of national identity in terms of intercultural communication. It presents psychological definition of the intercultural communication phenomenon and its national character. It reveals the influence of folklore, music, art and religion on the formation of national identity. The factors of Ukrainian national character formation are described. The phenomenon of the national character has many manifestations, the most studied of which are a language (both spoken, sign and body language, etc.) and mentality, and almost not studied art forms of national character embodiment including dance, music and singing. However, most of these kinds of art are a part of customs and rituals, festive entertainment and professional artistic culture. They embody the synthesis of plastics, motions and music and may be as much adequate as the language, the national culture principle and the national character. Стаття присвячена висвітленню проблем становлення національної ідентичності в умовах міжкультурної комунікації. Представлено визначення психологічної сутності феномену міжкультурної комунікації та національного характеру. Розкрито вплив фольклору, музики, мистецтва та релігії на становлення національної ідентичності. Визначено чинники формування національного характеру українців.
