Розвиток творчих здібностей студентів у процесі художньо-проектної діяльності

Abstract

The present raises new requirements for students’ training – future teachers of technologies together with the high erudition, education, sufficient professional training should have a high level of artistic ability and creativity. The article deals with the comparative analysis and specification of the concepts of “art” and “creativity”, emphasizes their role in modern society and in the development of the teacher individuality. Based on comparisons of the interpretation of these terms the author indicates that art is the process of human activity that creates new quality material and spiritual values or the result of this process, while creativity comprises inventive individual abilities, characterized by willingness to create fundamentally new ideas that diverge from traditional or accepted patterns of thinking. The article draws attention to the importance of art and design activities in the development of creative abilities of students – future teachers of technologies. This type of training is prevailing under the current curriculum of labor education in the modern school as carries enormous educational, pedagogical and developmental potential, and this activity is being promoted in the training of future teachers of technologies. It is noted that the artistic design as an element of design and technological ap- proach to the labor training of students and professional training of teachers, with proper realization, allows to activate self-creative search activities and to ensure the development of creative motivation necessary for the development of creative personality. The author substantiates the hypothesis that the involvement of future teachers of technologies in art and design activities should focus on the development of creative abilities, creative initiative, self-determination and creativity, which in turn will enable them to carry out projects successfully and to create original pieces, but the main thing – to shape and develop the creative abilities of students’ personality in the following way, using the forms and me- thods by which they had studied themselves. У статті звертається увага на важливість використання художньо-проектної діяльності у процесі роз- витку творчих здібностей студентів – майбутніх учителів технологій. Подається порівняльний аналіз та конкретизація понять «творчість» і «креативність», підкреслюється їх роль у сучасному суспільстві та у процесі розвитку особистості педагога. Наголошується на важливості використання проектно-технологічного підходу в процесі підготовки майбутніх учителів як засобу розвитку їх творчого потенціалу та формування креативності.
