Соціальне виховання в історії зарубіжної та вітчизняної педагогічної думки ХІХ століття

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of social education in the history of foreign and native educational thought of the XIX century. This period played a great role in the history of development of pedagogical science. This time was characterized by interpretation of educational paradigm as socio-historical phenomenon. Many researchers of that epoch investigated factors of genesis of education. Changes in society and especially in education are closely related to the ne- cessity of solving certain pedagogical problems. Modern social and economical changes problematize the social education of youth. This issue is one of the most urgent problems in pedagogical theory and practice. The aim of the research is to perform a retrospective analysis of the problem of social education in foreign and domestic pedagogical thought. Summarizing pedagogical thoughts of representatives of the mentioned period it is necessary to admit that social education on the territory of Ukraine in the XIX century was a component of general national education, ideas of which have been developing in pedagogues’ works. Thus, the essence of social education in the history of foreign pedagogy of the XIX century was to prepare young generation to harmonious functioning in society and performing future social functions. Стаття присвячена проблемі соціального виховання в історії зарубіжної та вітчизняної педагогічної дум- ки ХІХ століття. Автор на засадах ретроспективного аналізу досліджує фактори виникнення виховання, здійснює історико-персоналістичний розгляд зарубіжної педагогічної думки зазначеного хронологічного періоду, висвітлює розвиток української національної ідеї крізь призму педагогічного доробку вітчизняних учених ХІХ століття.
