Abstract: The article presents the results of applying acme-axiological approaches in the system of training highly skilled athletes in dis- abled sports (based on training swimmers with visual and musculoskeletal disorders). Acme-axiological approach performs the tasks aimed at training athletes with psychophysical disabilities to participate in sports activities (training and competitions), and provides athletes’ self-estimation of their own successes and failures, as well as achieved level of competitive activity preparedness. This ap- proach is focused on objective criteria in order to avoid excessive subjectivity, because it is a prerequisite for achieving the highest level of athletic performance. Acme-axiological approach in training competitive athletes in disabled sports is realized in terms of systematic self-evaluation procedures and expert evaluation. There is self-estimation of sportsmen, where they estimate all components that determine the level of preparedness for effective training and competitive activities, and expert evaluation of the same crite- ria. Special evaluation sheets were used to fix the self-assessment results of the technical and tactical skills, functional and psycholog- ical preparedness of athletes. We think that systematic usage of acme-axiological approach in the system of training sportsmen with psycho-physiological disorders, which is performed in a form of self-estimating of all components that determine the level of their preparedness to the efficient sport activity and expert evaluation, will contribute to achieving the high level of formedness of sportsmen’s individual professional status in disabled sports. Self-estimation of procedural aspect and transitive results of sport activity is considered as a way of self-reflection in a specific social environment, as an ability to estimate the level of own skills and achievements, realize the factors, which provide or limit his ability to effective sport activity. У статті представлено результати вивчення можливостей реалізації акмео-аксіологічних підходів у системі підготовки спортсменів високої кваліфікації у спорті інвалідів (на матеріалах підготовки плавців із порушеннями зору та опорно-рухового апарату).
