Дослідження особливостей полімотивації студентів

Abstract

The article is aimed at investigating the peculiarities of students’ polimotivation and determining the place of academic motivation in it. The study was carried out according to the questionnaire of V. F. Morgun. It involved 150 fourth-and fifth-year students of full- and part-time education as well as students obtaining second university degree at Psychological and Pedagogical Faculty in Poltava State Pedagogical University named after V.G. Korolenko. The re- sults of students’ polimotivation research and the analysis of academic motivation allow the author to come to the following conclusions. Full-time students show the highest level academic motivation in different types of activity, such as labour activity, communication and self-development. At the same time the leading motives of part-time students and second university degree seekers are the professional ones. Full-time students’ academic motivation in activities of dif- ferent levels is also higher than that of part-time students and second university degree seekers: on the level of educa- tion full-time students prefer wide social motives to narrowly personality ones; on the level of reproduction and creativity academic motives are more significant. Full-time students show prevailing of academic motivation in perceptive, speech and intellectual forms. All the students do not include educational component in motorial and productive forms of activity. Full-time students’ mood modality depends more on such educational components as marks, classes, relationships with their fellow students and teachers. Going forward, it is planned to investigate the dynamics of student’s polimotivation during their studying at higher educational institution and revealing the difference in the polimotivation of students specializing in different fields. У статті розкриваються структура мотиваційної сфери та можливості використання методики полімотивації В.Ф.Моргуна для дослідження навчальної мотивації студентів різних форм навчання. Аналізуються включені до навчального мотиву різні змісти, рівні, форми, модальності діяльності.
