Abstract

The article analyzes the problem of a person’s occupational health, defines psychological content and the place of occupational health in the system of a professional’s value orientations. At any professional activity an employee is demanded to be enduring, capable of working, emotionally stable, etc. That is why a specialist’s ability to manage his own health (both physical and mental), to be psychologically ready for the realization of this ability (social health) is often regarded as a characteristic sign of professionalism. The essence of the concept of «professional axiosphere of personality» is justified as the complex of professional values, which are developed naturally in terms of professional environment and have different personal significance for the formation of professionalism. A number of subvalues in the structure of specialist’s occupational health were considered. It was concluded that the scientific analysis of the phenomenon of “occupational health” is not limited to physiological and psycho-physiological framework. Occupational health of a specialist is a complex phenomenon including new meanings in the structure of a person’s career. Understanding the place of occupational health in the system of a professional’s value orientations, its importance in the structure of personality’s professional axiosphere, the development of healthy lifestyle in professional activity, determining its dependence on certain factors of professional environment is an important part of creating the culture of specialist’s occupational health. The culture of occupational health manifests itself in the unity of motivational and value as well as emotional and volitional health-saving orientations, knowledge and skills of designing, maintaining and strengthening occupational health of a specialist that provides productive professional activity. У статті здійснено аналіз проблеми професійного здоров’я особистості. Визначено психологічний зміст і місце професійного здоров’я в системі ціннісних орієнтацій професіонала. Обґрунтовано сутність поняття «професійна аксіосфера особистості» як «цілокупності» професійних цінностей, яка складається закономірно в умовах професійного середовища й має різну особистісну значущість для становлення професіоналізму спеціаліста. Розглянуто низку субцінностей у структурі професійного здоров’я спеціаліста.
