Abstract:	. The article analyses the scientific and pedagogical heritage of V. Suhomlynsky. Humanistic attitude, individual qualities, professional knowledge, speech culture are considered to be the main parts of pedagogical skillfulness. V. Suhomlynsky stated that the child is the greatest treasure of the humanity and the teacher has to help to develop his\her talent and abilities and form moral qualities.
