Когнитивные процессы в структуре профессиональной готовности водителей автотранспорта

Abstract

В работе анализируется структура готовности к профессиональной деятельности. Приведены результаты диагностики когнитивных процессов у водителей и кандидатов в водители автотранспорта. Обосновывается не-обходимость в различных подходах к оценке долговременной и оперативной готовности к деятельности водителей автотранспорта с учетом когнитивных процессов и психофизиологических функций человека. У роботі аналізується феномен готовності до професійної діяльності, а також роль когнітивних процесів в її структурі. Наведено результати діагностики когнітивних процесів у водіїв і кандидатів у водії автотранспорту. У во-діїв-професіоналів середні значення когнітивних процесів і психофізіологічних функцій якісно краще, що поясню-ється сформованістю структури діяльності і наявністю взаємозв'язаних професійно важливих якостей та їх комплек-сів. Обґрунтовується необхідність у різних підходах до оцінки довготривалої та оперативної готовності до діяльності водіїв автотранспорту з урахуванням когнітивних процесів і психофізіологічних функцій людини.The road transport drivers’ professional readiness structure is an integral formation which consists of various cha-racteristics. The most important of them are personal, perceptive and emotional ones. Driver’s professional activity de-mands active involvement of every psychical function, first of all, cognitive processes and psychophysiological func-tions. Insufficient theoretical and practical studies of the problem of drivers’ professional readiness are determined by complexity of this phenomenon and variety of its specific manifestations. In the course of our investigation, 76 people were examined: 48 professional drivers and 28 driver candidates (students of driver training centers). Comparing psy-chodiagnostically significant differences of obtained results we came to a conclusion that these groups of drivers are significantly distinctive. First of all, these differences belong to the area of attention concentration ratio (p=0.032) and permanent memory (p=0.004). The performed research made it possible to detect the main professional drivers’ func-tional disorders. These are disorders of short-term memory (41.7%), permanent memory (35.4%), recent memory (37.5%), mental rigidity (35.4%) and perception dependence field (45.8%). Visual and motorial reaction decelerations were found just in 10.4% of professional drivers, whereas this kind of disorder is dominating for the majority (53.6%) of driver candidates. An additional point is that 67.9% of professional drivers suffer from perception disorders, 31.3% - of recent memory impairment, 25.0% - of short-term memory impairment and 28.6% - of mental rigidity impairment. These differences could be determined by professional drivers’ driving experience. Their visual and motorial reactions, information perception and concentration fixation have been developed during the period of their professional activity. Memory and thinking properties are secondary in this case. This fact could be explained by reproductive nature of driv-ing in compliance with traffic laws and driving regulations. In this case the necessity of long term memory processes use and brainwork activity is comparatively rare. Assessment of road transport drivers’ readiness to work should be le-gislated and compulsory, thus, it will reduce the number of road accidents rate.
